Tequila, Mezcal, Blanco or
Extra-Añejo… what’s the difference?

Before you order your next glass of tequila, get
confident knowing exactly what you’re drinking.

Blanco

These tequilas are rested no more than 60 days in stainless steel or oak tanks.

Best enjoyed in our wide variety of or in a margarita.

Reposado

Aged in oak casks for a minimum of two to nine months, these tequilas carry a soft oakiness and light stray in colour.

Best enjoyed straight or in our signature Tommy’s Margarita.

Añejo

Often aged in white French oak or bourbon barrels for a minimum of one year to three years. These tequilas are very smooth with nice balance of agave and oak flavours accented by butterscotch and caramel undertones.

Extra-Añejo

A relative new category that was introduced in 2006, these tequilas spend at least 3 years in barrels and have a profile that rivals some of the oldest whiskies.

Mezcal

Often described as tequila’s smoky-tasting cousin, mezcal are made from roasted agaves ang is often described as savoury and smokey with bold flavours of wild agaves.
